Welcome to the Amity Rescue Squad web site! Amity Rescue Squad provides Emergency Medical care to residents of Belmont,
Amity, and Ward. Amity also responds mutual aid to Scio, Friendship, Angelica, Alfred, and Wellsville. Operating two Advanced
Life Support (ALS) ambulances Amity responds to Emergency Medical calls 24 hours a day , 365 days a year.
Amity Rescue is comprised of experienced, engaged, and dedicated volunteers ranging from upper class men in high school
to retirees. Each member that provides patient care is a state-certified Emergency Medical Technician, trained to render an
array of life-saving interventions including medication administration and emergency defibrillation. Amity Rescue, together
with New York State Police, Allegany County Sheriff's Deputies, Belmont Police, and Belmont Fire Department, offers
top-notch emergency medical care 24/7.
